Bamboo Wipes for Baby Bottoms

Rachel's Question:  I am making my own baby wipe solution (I use washable bamboo wipes with my own solution because he has sensitive skin) and I was wondering whether it would work to grate and dissolve some of the soap (Saskatchewan Summer) in hot water and then add the olive oil to that.

Rachel's Response to Her Own Question (Thanks, Rachel!):  I did it and it worked wonderfully so I'm so glad! One more wonderful use for that fabulous soap!! Now I can try out some of the other ones I ordered and see which one I like best for the wet wipes.

Here is Rachel's Recipe for 8 Gentle Bamboo Wipes for Baby Bottoms:

2 cups of very warm water
1/8 cup of very finely grated Greenfield Soap
(stir to dissolve soap in water)
Add 2 Tablespoons of olive oil
Mix together well

Put bamboo wipes into the solution until saturated. Gently squeeze out excess liquid and roll up the wipes and store them in whatever container you keep them in (I have a warmer that I store mine in. It's antibacterial, etc. as are the bamboo wipes themselves (so they don't develop any sort of mold or anything either).  You can use this recipe to pour on disposable wipes as well...I know some of my friends just use a roll of papertowels.
